He apologizes for the bankruptcy but insists he doesn¿t know where any missing customer money is right now.He apologized for the collapse of the financial firm in his Congressional testimony, but said he did not know what happened to the hundreds of millions of dollars missing from customer accounts...Over a Billion Dollars missing and Corzine doesnt know where it went? Well that's just a huge lie isn't it. No doubt his good friend Barack Obama will get him out of trouble...but I think we should do what Barney Frank suggested we do with the Bank Presidents and give out his home address so the people can do what Frank suggested, which was "string them up with piano wire"

Even as Jon Corzine’s MF Global was collapsing, a firm that includes former President Bill Clinton in a senior post was raking in huge fees for public-relations and financial advice from the ill-fated brokerage, The Post has learned.

Clinton’s office insists the former president did not profit from the relationship between MF Global and Teneo Holdings, where he is chairman of the advisory board. But Teneo, on whose advisory board former British Prime Minister Tony Blair also sits, was paid $125,000 a month for at least five months in one of MF’s biggest consulting arrangements, according to sources at the brokerage house.

Declan Kelly, former US Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland

Teneo Holdings, the New York based consulting and merchant banking business owned by senior Clinton advisor Doug Band and former US Envoy Declan Kelly, has agreed to partner with Irish based corporate finance and stockbroking company Merrion Capital, an affiliate of the US boutique investment bank, Allen & Company Inc.

The full terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it is known that Teneo’s banking subsidiary, Teneo Capital, run by former Morgan Stanley M&A Asia and Latin America head Harry van Dyke, will purchase a minority position in Merrion, and Merrion will purchase an equivalent stake in Teneo Capital.

Allen & Co., a long time shareholder in Merrion, will continue to hold a strategic stake in the Irish company, and will now hold a strategic interest in Teneo Capital.

Merrion, headed by John Conroy, is one of the last remaining independent advisory firms in the Irish market. The company is known to be active as an advisor on a number of matters in Ireland resulting from the Irish fiscal debt crisis.

Teneo, which operates out of offices in London, New York, Toronto and Washington DC, recently indicated its intentions to further expand by opening an office in Dublin. The company's advisory board is chaired by US President Bill Clinton and includes former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

VILNIUS (Reuters) - Russia took a swipe at Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Wednesday over her criticism of its parliamentary election, saying it was "not Hyde Park" where speakers could just arrive, hold forth and leave without listening to others.

Clinton, visiting Lithuania Tuesday for a meeting of security body the OSCE, cited serious concerns about the weekend election to the State Duma (lower house of parliament).

"This is not Hyde Park, this is not Triumfalnaya (Triumph) Square in Moscow, where speakers arrive to pour out their soul and then turn around and leave, not listening to others," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters.

He was referring to London's Hyde Park and its famed "Speakers' Corner" and to the square in Moscow that was the site of Tuesday's protest over the parliamentary election.

Lavrov said Clinton's actions showed "disrespect" to the 56-member Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which has been holding a two-day meeting in Vilnius.

"Several of my colleagues prefer to use this tribune to complain (about issues) completely unrelated to the agenda as was the case with my colleague Hillary Clinton, who arrived, it seems, only to impress her voters in the Democratic party."

The Russian Foreign Ministry Tuesday dismissed the U.S. criticism as unacceptable and urged Moscow's ex-Cold War enemy to refrain from such "hostile attacks" in future.

Lavrov said Russia would prefer to resolve issues through a dialogue instead of using multinational meetings to vent criticism of each other.

International observers said after the Sunday's election for the Duma that they had seen some ballot stuffing and that the vote was unfairly slanted in favor of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's ruling party.

President Dmitry Medvedev, who is stepping aside next year to allow for Putin's return to the top seat of power for the world's largest energy producer, has rejected allegations of fraud, calling the vote "fair, honest and democratic.
