I never understood my mother.  She always said my cousin Donna Mae was the prettiest baby in the whole wide world.  Donna has blue eyes and I have brown.

I didn't understand for many many many years how she thought that way.  It wasn't until my second daughter gave me a blue eyed g'son that I started to understand. 

I remember sitting in the rocking chair with lil Robby that I totally understood.  He had beautiful deep blue eyes and they were his father's eyes.  I knew then why my mother thought my cousin was beautiful.  She had my daddy's eyes and my mother didn't like me because I had her brown eyes.  ...........and now I understand.

My eyes and all 3 kids........ and all of Brad's kids and Ida.... and my mom.  (she'd be happy I called her mom as I never called her that in life.....  MOTHER was what I called her and she called me ms pris as she always thought I thought I was better.  hmmmm, maybe I did?????????  not sure as i was always busy trying to stay out of her way.

I didn't know till the last decade that blue eyes are dominant, he now has green eyes but his lil bro has blue eyes still and he was born in 2001, so guess his will stay blue...........  hmmmmmmmm  now I need to go research it and make sure.  roflmao

Chloe's, Nick's, daddy's and my g'ma & g'pa and my great grandparents 2.   (I was only g'child with brown eyes out of 12 cousins and then there were several step cousins but not sure of their eye colors anymore.  )
