McCartney at first had obviously intended to use Epstein's music publishing company NEMS Enterprises for these plans, but after Epstein's death it was learned that Australian Robert Stigwood was trying to get hold of NEMS.[15] All four Beatles were not in favour such an outcome, as McCartney had previously told Epstein in 1967:[16]
We said, 'In fact, if you do, if you somehow manage to pull this off, we can promise you one thing. We will record God Save the Queen for every single record we make from now on and we'll sing it out of tune

Video Clips from STEVE JOBS — ONE LAST THING Now Available on PBS.org
ARLINGTON, VA; November 2, 2011--Video excerpts from STEVE JOBS — ONE LAST THING are now available online in advance of the broadcast premiere tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET. The documentary follows NOVA’s "The Fabric of the Cosmos" with Brian Greene, premiering tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET. Through interviews with colleagues and others who knew Jobs, ONE LAST THING provides an inside look at the man and some of the major influences that helped shape his life and career.
Two clips, described below, are available:
1) Excerpt from an interview with David Sheff, best-selling author and journalist, who interviewed Jobs for Playboy Magazine in 1985. Sheff describes Sean Lennon’s ninth birthday party and Jobs’ gift to Sean of a Mac computer equipped with the MacPaint program. MacPaint captures the attention of Andy Warhol, a guest at the party.

2) Excerpt from an interview with Walt Mossberg, principal technology columnist at The Wall Street Journal, in which the relationship between Bill Gates and Jobs is dissected. Robert Cringely, writer and host of the PBS series TRIUMPH OF THE NERDS: THE RISE OF ACCIDENTAL EMPIRES, is also featured.

This is a very interesting interview with Martin Sheen talking about Elvis. Mr Sheen seems to be a real Elvis expert, he says and remembers a lot of things that aren't necessarily known by everybody like the fact that Elvis rather wanted to be an actor than a singer. Very interesting indeed.

WFIL-TV was filling the afternoons with B movies. Hollywood wouldn't sell TV anything good as they considered them competitors. The movies were bad and when the cost went up, the contract wasn't renewed. WFIL-TV Station Manager George Koehler (a member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia) was "pulling his hair out" trying to think of a replacement.

Excerpt:
Koehler was one of the brains behind the advent of "Action News." The format and title quickly spread to all of the Triangle stations and many more across the nation. Koehler once said:
It's very carefully produced and carefully written. The last story was even backtimed - you start the music before the end of the story so they both end at the same time. ...You don't lose viewers, you drive them away.
When Klein & Koehler bought the Annenberg broadcast stations, they formed Gateway Communications. Thirty years later, they sold Gateway for a reported figure of over $200 million dollars.

Excerpt:
Mr. Koehler chose WFIL news reporter Larry Kane to anchor Action News, which debuted in April 1970. By April 1971, it was the No. 1 news program in the Philadelphia market.
Its success was "unprecedented," Kane said. Though Channels 3 and 10 featured news icons Vince Leonard and John Facenda, the public apparently preferred Kane's machine-gun delivery and the new program's high-energy format.
"George had clear thinking about the market," Kane said. "He understood you have to have genuine community involvement. We covered not just the city but the suburbs. He hired very creative people and launched an extraordinary promotion campaign."
Action News on Channel 6, now formally WPVI-TV, has remained No. 1 in the Philadelphia market for more than 35 years, and its format has been copied all over the country.
In 1972, Mr. Koehler and partners purchased Triangle Publications television stations in Binghamton, N.Y., Lancaster, and Johnstown-Altoona and established Gateway Communications. They later acquired a station in West Virginia. He retired in 1983.
A native of Camden, Mr. Koehler was valedictorian of the Class of 1938 at Camden High School and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1942.

Larry Kane (born October 21, 1942) is an American journalist best known as the only American reporter whom The Beatles let travel with them on their 1964 and 1965 North American tours. Kane authored a book about his experiences on the tour, called Ticket To Ride, and Lennon Revealed, a New York Times and Los Angeles Times best-seller in 2005. The Emmy Award-winning newsman was honored by the Mid-Atlantic Emmy organization with their Governor’s Award in 2005, recognizing Lifetime Achievement, and was installed in the Pennsylvania Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Horn_(broadcaster)
Excerpts:
1) On July 9, 1956, Horn, fired after a drunk driving conviction, was replaced by Dick Clark. (Besides the DUI, Horn was charged statutory rape - he was acquitted.) Clark had shared afternoon DJ duties with Horn on WFIL-AM (Horn was working radio and TV simultaneously, and wasn't happy about it).[4] The show was picked up by ABC (becoming American Bandstand) on August 5, 1957 and went on to great success with Dick Clark as host.

2) Horn (Bob Adams) was scheduled for the evening show from 9 to midnight on KILT, a station owned by the man who invented Top 40 radio, Gordon McLendon. Bob Horn had worked for McLendon in the mid 1940s.

Gordon McLendon
Excerpts:
1) Gordon Barton McLendon was a radio pioneer and pirate radio broadcaster. He has been coined the Maverick of Radio. McLendon is widely credited for perfecting, with great commercial success, the Top 40 radio format during the 1950s and 1960s which was first invented by Todd Storz and for developing the offshore pirate radio broadcasting to both Scandinavia and the British Isles. In addition, he was active in circles of conservative business-political power in the 1960s until the time of his death. McLendon co-founded the Association for Intelligence Officers. He was a member of the Suite 8F Group.

2) McLendon was married in 1943 to Gay Noe, daughter of James A. Noe, former governor of Louisiana; in 1973 he married Susan Stafford, a syndicated columnist, radio talk-show host, and actress.
McLendon was known for his elaborate practical jokes, orchestrated on such notable as sitting President Richard Nixon and J. Edgar Hoover whom he both called friends. He was a member of the board of stewards of Highland Park Methodist Church in Dallas and the board of directors of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Texas chairman of the March of Dimes, and an honorary chairman of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Poppy Drive. In 1964–65 he served as a communications advisor to the United States Peace Corps. In 1971 he conducted a month-long all-expense-paid broadcasting course for nine minority-group members, including African Americans, Puerto Ricans, and Mexican Americans. He died of cancer at his ranch home near Lake Dallas, Texas, on September 14, 1986.
By 1985 Forbes magazine estimated McLendon's net worth at $200 million. He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 1994.

Susan Stafford
Susan Stafford (born Susan Gail Carney on October 13, 1945 in Lynn, Massachusetts) was the original hostess of the game show Wheel of Fortune from January 6, 1975 until she left on October 22, 1982. She also returned briefly in 1986 to substitute for Vanna White.
Stafford married radio pioneer Gordon McLendon in 1973, and was then briefly married to Dick Ebersol of NBC Sports and former producer of Saturday Night Live in the 1980s. Ebersol and Stafford were married on a beach in Malibu. Their wedding was attended by the likes of John Belushi, Chevy Chase, and SNL producer Lorne Michaels. After they exchanged vows, Chase jokingly grabbed Stafford and threw her into the ocean. Stafford later became involved with game show producer Dan Enright. At the time, she was also Vice President of Public Relations of Barry & Enright Productions.
After leaving the show, Stafford earned a B.A. in Nutrition and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the unaccredited Pacific Western University.
In 2003, Stafford made her first game show appearance since Wheel, modeling the prizes for Hollywood Squares Game Show Week (Part 2).

James A. Noe
Excerpt
James Albert Noe, Sr. (December 21, 1890 – October 18, 1976) of Monroe served for three and a half months as the 43rd Governor of Louisiana after the death of Oscar K. Allen on January 28, 1936.

Oscar K. Allen
Excerpt:
Oscar Kelly Allen, Sr. (August 8, 1882 – January 28, 1936), also known as O. K. Allen, was the 42nd Governor of Louisiana from 1932 to 1936. He was a key lieutenant in the political machine of Huey Pierce Long, Jr., that dominated the state during the first half of the 1930s. Allen succeeded Alvin Olin King, who served briefly in the state's highest office after Long left the governorship to take a seat in the United States Senate.

Death and honors
Allen died in the governor's mansion of a brain hemorrhage. At the time of his death, he was the Democratic nominee for Long's vacated seat in the United States Senate. He had won the Senate nomination with an unprecedented 200,000-vote plurality, but he did not live to assume the office, which went thereafter to Allen J. Ellender of Houma, the seat of Terrebonne Parish.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_machine
Excerpt:
A political machine (or simply machine) is a political organization in which an authoritative boss or small group commands the support of a corps of supporters and businesses (usually campaign workers), who receive rewards for their efforts. The power of the machine is based on the ability of the workers to get out the vote for their candidates on election day.
Although these elements are common to most political parties and organizations, they are essential to political machines, which rely on hierarchy and rewards for political power, often enforced by a strong party whip structure. Machines sometimes have a political boss, often rely on patronage, the spoils system, "behind-the-scenes" control, and longstanding political ties within the structure of a representative democracy. Machines typically are organized on a permanent basis instead of for a single election or event. The term may have a pejorative sense referring to corrupt political machines.[1]

Excerpt:

Huey P. Long Biography

During the era of the Great Depression, Huey Pierce Long was a larger-than-life politician who gained national attention as Louisiana's "Kingfish" -- a nickname he gave himself. Long was a high school drop-out who taught himself law and became a member of the Louisiana bar in 1915. In 1918 he moved to Shreveport and began a political career as a lively opponent of corporate wealth and privilege, targeting giants such as John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil Company. From 1928 until 1932, Long served as Louisiana's governor and launched an ambitious and successful program of public works. Long also ruled over a statewide political machine whose corrupt methods caused critics to regard him as a demagogue and political thug. While still governor, he was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1930; preferring to stay on as governor for a while, he didn't show up in Washington until January of 1932. Moderately a Democrat, Long was a radical populist with presidential ambitions who began a national campaign called "Share the Wealth," a campaign that included minimum salaries and caps on income and property. He openly opposed the economic policies of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a fellow Democrat, and railed against the influence of the wealthy few.

How the CIA and Military Control the Music Industry
by Wes Penre, Illuminati News, Dec 21, 2008
Excerpt:

Conclusion

From what we have discussed in this article, we can see the pattern. It is no coincidence that so many mega rock stars have military and Intelligence family ties. It's within the Military complex and the Intelligence Agencies that mind control takes place, and many of those rock stars are either under mind control or just greedy, willing to follow any agenda to get an abundance of money, sex and drugs. We also see that behind it all lurk the secret societies with their occult knowledge. The guru for many rock stars is Aleister Crowley, a magician who spent his life in and out of asylums due to the rituals he practiced and all the drugs he took. Also, people close to him had a strange tendency to die before their time. But he had great occult knowledge and this knowledge is used within the music/film industries as well as high up in the Illuminati.
The reason why we have financial meltdown, why life is so hectic and why all these wars are going on all over the planet is because there is a secret powerful cabal of occult practitioners behind the scenes creating this chaos with a long term goal to accomplish a One World Government where no one is free and nothing but slave labor to those in power. This is a goal they have been working on for centuries and it's a huge task to accomplish, and they know that they would have little chance to reach there unless they had Hollywood and the Music Industry to use as major propaganda machines.
On the bright side, people are currently waking up to this fact and start getting their voices heard. However, we are racing against time, because the Power Elite is quite close to accomplishing their goals and we need to act now if we will stand a chance. Once they succeed, it will be next to impossible to reverse the effects.

The Micromanager: Robert Stigwood

As a junior partner in Brian Epstein’s music empire, Robert Stigwood was almost given the opportunity to manage The Beatles. Unfortunately for him, the group rebelled. As Paul McCartney told him, “If you somehow manage to pull this off, we can promise you one thing. We will record ‘God Save the Queen’ for every single record we make from now on, and we’ll sing it out of tune.”
But perhaps The Beatles weren’t aware of just how hard he worked. For Stigwood, management meant working for your artists 24 hours a day, seven days a week. He traveled with his two most famous bands—a power-rock trio called Cream and a pop-disco trio called the Bee Gees—playing the role of father, confessor, and babysitter all at once. He’d hang out in the studio while they recorded and help them pick out five-button suits after work. In fact, Stigwood may have been a little too hands-on. In 1980, after 13 years under his care, the Bee Gees sued, claiming that Stigwood had withheld $75 million in royalties. Stigwood countersued, and they settled out of court.

Excerpt:
The Beatles toured the Philippines in July 1966, playing two shows at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manilla,[84] but Epstein unintentionally snubbed the nation's first lady, Imelda Marcos, when presented with an invitation to a breakfast party.[85] Epstein politely declined on behalf of the group, as it had been their policy never to accept such official invitations.[86] The Beatles and their entourage were ejected from their hotel the same day and were given a police escort to the airport, even though Epstein made a televised statement publicly apologising for the misunderstanding, which was not heard because of static.[84] They boarded the plane to fly home, but Epstein and Beatles' assistant, Mal Evans, were ordered off, with both believing they would not be allowed back on the plane.[87] Epstein was forced to give the tax authorities £6,800 worth of Philippine peso notes from the Manila shows, and had to sign the tax bond verifying the exchange before being allowed back on the plane.
