Alice Nicole Rogoff, managing director of the Washington merchant banking firm of G. William Miller & Company, was married yesterday to David Mark Rubenstein, a partner in the Washington law firm of Shaw, Pittman, Potts & Trowbridge. Rabbi David Saperstein performed the ceremony at Protocol House in Washington.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer Rogoff of Washington, was formerly assistant to the director of the Office of Management and Budget and assistant to Donald E. Graham, publisher of The Washington Post. She graduated from the Dalton School, Connecticut College and the Harvard Business School. Her father is chairman and president of Navigation Sciences Inc., a computer software company in Bethesda, Md. Her mother, Sheila Rogoff, is an artist.
Mr. Rubenstein is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rubenstein of Baltimore and Lake Worth, Fla. He was formerly an associate with the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and served in the Carter Administration as deputy assistant to the President for domestic affairs and policy. He graduated magna cum laude from Duke University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was an editor of The Law Review. His father is a manager of the Gucci store in Palm Beach, Fla.
