CONTROL YOUR BODY PH BALANCE WITH
ALKALIZING PH+ DROP

THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER BODY PH BALANCE

All deficiency disease is the result of pH imbalance and a lack of nutrients, minerals, amino acids or essential fatty acids. When you lack any of the essential nutrients or have toxins enter your system, you are beginning the process of acidosis, breaking down at a cellular level. In other words, your body pH balance is disrupted, causing the body to form the perfect environment for the development of disorders such as arthritis, weight gain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, yeast infestations, constipation, spastic colan, Cohn's disease, gout, acid reflux, kidney stones, diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Body pH balance can be easily tested using a pH strip to test your saliva and urine. The body pH balance scale reads from 1, which is acidic, to 10, which is alkaline. The idea body pH balance should fall between 6.8 and 7.5. According to Dr. Mark Cockran, anybody that tests 4.5 or below is in terrible trouble with most having some form of cancer. Anything below 6.8 should be of concern. When urine test over 9.0 your body is so acidic that you are producing ammonia to protect your kidneys. Any super acidity will destroy your kidneys! Ammonia is extremely alkaline and is produced by your body of offset the acid that will strip out the lining of the kidneys.

THE EFFECTS OF PROPER BODY pH BALANCE

When your body pH is balanced the cells in your body will oxygenate and cause you to heal at a phenomenal rate. Cancer cells put in a test tube with acidic fluids will multiply. Put those same cancer cells in a test tube with alkaline fluids and they die. When the fluid inside a cell becomes acidic it will melt down the components that make the cell healthy. When this happens the DNA, the code for structuring your body, and the RNA, the bodies messenger, are no longer able to properly communicate with each other so you have developmental problems such as cancer. With a proper body pH balance will allow the code to send messages properly, the way God intended. When you have proper body pH balance, the body will eject toxins. This reaction has many names such as detoxification, reactivation or healing crises. When you first begin to achieve a proper body pH balance you will have a reaction. Your body will neutralize acids and throw off poisons which may cause you to feel weak and shaky, urinate frequently, have slight headaches, sore joints and tender muscles. This is caused by the toxins leaving the body. As a matter of fact, your bath water will even darken from the mercury coming out of your body. These are all normal reactions to detoxification and will only last for a few days. According to DR Cockran, when the body achieves proper body pH balance, by removing the toxins in the cells, macular degeneration will disappear.

THE EFFECTS OF IMPROPER BODY pH BALANCE

Acidic conditions in the body will cause you to have low energy and to "not feel good" in general. Acidic conditions causes a poor immune system, making you less resistant to sickness (colds, flu etc.). Acid hinders the bodies ability to absorb oxygen, vitamins and minerals. Lack of oxygen intake will slow down the metabolism, an acidic body cannot lose weight and keep it off. Some of the more common symptoms associated with acid conditions are Chronic Fatigue, allergies, ADD, ADHD, ear problems, and upper respiratory problems. If the body pH balance gets very far out of balance the body will pull alkalizing minerals from your bones. This will help lower the acid in your body but leaves the bones weak leading to osteoporosis and gout.

HOW TO ACHIEVE PROPER BODY pH BALANCE

Your gall bladder produces bile which is an alkalizing agent to decrease the acid in your body. With today's diets, most people take in more acid than the gall bladder can neutralize. You can control your body pH balance by drinking plenty of water, limiting the amount of red meat you eat, not drinking soft drinks of any kind including diet and caffeine free (soft drinks are EXTREMELY acidic), and by making the fluids you consume more alkaline. Water in general has a neutral pH of around 7.0 when it is not polluted with chemicals. Just 2 Alkalizing pH Drops can take an eight ounce glass of water over 10.0 making the water much more easily absorbed at a cellular level keeping the fluids alkaline. Alkalizing pH drops will decrease the acid content of any liquid (water, tea, coffee etc.) except soft drinks. Alkalizing pH drops will cause detoxification, removing harmful toxins from the cells. A full 1 - 2 month supply, depending on how much you drink, of Alkalizing pH drops is only $16.00 for NHC Health Club Members. Click here for FREE membership! Nonmember price is $20.00

A study in mice has suggested that capsaicin found in pepper spray may interact with cocaine with potentially fatal consequences. The method through which they would interact however, is not known.[68][69]

Excerpts:
1)  Proposed drug abuse deterrent
Clifford Woolf, the Richard J. Kitz Professor of Anesthesia Research at Harvard Medical School, has suggested using capsaicin to deter abuse of certain extended-release drugs such as OxyContin and Ritalin.[51] When taken as prescribed, opioid prescription drugs such as OxyContin or stimulant drugs such as Adderall XR release their active chemical over time, but when crushed and insufflated, taken as a suppository, chewed, or injected, the larger than normal dosage is absorbed all at once and a much stronger effect is produced that can be highly habit forming and potentially fatal due to the higher risk of overdose. Woolf has argued that adding capsaicin into the capsules would be a safe way to deter abuse. A person taking the capsule in the prescribed way (i.e., swallowing it whole) would suffer no ill effects from the additive. However, a person crushing it would expose the irritant. Anyone then chewing it, snorting it, or injecting it would be exposed to the full power of the chemical. "Imagine snorting an extract of 50 jalapeño peppers and you get the idea," Woolf said in an interview with the Harvard University Gazette. As of 2006, Woolf's proposal is still in the preliminary stages of development and the additive has not yet entered the production stage. A major downside of the idea is that drug users would likely turn to polluted street drugs rather than abusing pure pills. Also, should a user choose to crush a number of pills and swallow them inside a medium, such as rolling paper or tissue, the danger of ill effects or overdose may exist not only from the drug itself, but also as a result of the large dose of capsaicin the individual would be exposed to over a short period of time.

2)  Drug interactions
Capsaicin is indicated as interacting with a number of drugs, including the commonly prescribed high-blood pressure drug Lisinopril, to induce a side-effect cough.[59]

Man chokes to death from pepper spray -  ignored as "irrational" - typical Victoria Police whitewash

sourced by Ahmar Mustikhan
There have been number of lethal cases involving pepper spray and now the culprits have been identified -- cocaine plus pepper spray is equal to poison.

Police officers around the world often use pepper spray to restrain people who are out of control. But after a series of unexplained deaths, researchers now suspect the spray, which is derived from chili peppers, could be fatal if the subject has been using cocaine or other drugs.
The man was clearly out of his senses. Peter M., 42, was naked and covered with blood as he ran across Munich's Höhenstadter Street. He threw himself on the ground, shouting: "I am God." Then he smeared superglue on his wounds and smashed his head into a window.

Policemen rushed to the scene and sprayed pepper spray into the man's face, but it had no effect. Several officers eventually managed to subdue him. When they finally handcuffed him, Peter M. collapsed. He was taken to a hospital, where he died two days later, on July 5.

Writing Realistic Crime Scenes: Death By Pepper Spray and...Cocaine?

Happy Tuesday, D. D. Scott-ville!

So I'm wayyy, wayyy deep into deadline week for my mid-May release THUG GUARD - Book One of my new, Cozy Cash Mysteries.

And I needed to kill-off a couple suspects.

Being as my heroine Zoey Witherspoon is a Stylist to The Stars, plus now a P.I. too, I had to find a fashion-world kinda way to do-in a couple bad guys.

My research so far had involved all kinds of Miss Universe-style pageant sabotage stories like the one from 2007 when Miss Puerto Rico's gown and makeup were tampered with using a pepper-based itching powder.

Which made me ponder...

Can Pepper Spray kill?

More research...

And I found this fantabulous blog...

The Writer's Forensics Blog by author and MD D.P. Lyle.

Plus, I found the answers I needed.

Pepper Spray can kill, if a person is on Cocaine at the same time.

And here's the scoop, straight from Dr. Lyle's post "Cocaine and Pepper Spray: A Lethal Combination?":

Pepper spray is a very painful product to have sprayed in your face. The reaction to this sudden pain and burning of the eyes and throat is a fight or flight response. Epinephrine is released by the adrenal glands in massive quantities and, in a situation where there is already cocaine in the system, it could easily cause dangerous arrhythmias, heart attacks, or strokes. The combination of cocaine and epinephrine is known to be potentially deadly.

I would suspect that if this combination does indeed prove to be lethal that this is the mechanism by which it occurs. The danger is not from the cocaine and the pepper spray, at least not directly, but rather from the combination of cocaine and the epinephrine that is released due to the pain of the capsaicin. The devil is in the details.

But from a practical point of view, dead is dead and the mechanism is more or less irrelevant. Very interesting and I hope there is further research in this arena.

Sooo...there you have it. Pepper Spray can kill...if cocaine is already wreaking havoc on the body's systems.

I won't make this anymore of a Spoiler Alert for THUG GUARD...but I can tell you, Zoey and Dr. Lyle are gonna be teamin' up for lots of cool "killing" facts on the pages of my new Cozy Cash Mysteries.

You'll see how this little bit plays out in THUG GUARD, which releases on or around May 16th!!!

The Best of Crime Scene Writing Wishes --- D. D. Scott
As chemical weapons, they are classified as weapons of mass destruction by the United Nations according to UN Resolution 687 (passed in April 1991) and their production and stockpiling was outlawed by the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993; the Chemical Weapons Convention officially took effect on April 29, 1997.
Poisoning by a nerve agent leads to contraction of pupils, profuse salivation, convulsions, involuntary urination and defecation and eventual death by asphyxiation as control is lost over respiratory muscles. Some nerve agents are readily vaporized or aerosolized and the primary portal of entry into the body is the respiratory system. Nerve agents can also be absorbed through the skin, requiring that those likely to be subjected to such agents wear a full body suit in addition to a respirator.

Excerpts:
1)  State Department Concurs in Explosives Manufacture
Import of U.S. chemical technology for military purposes goes back to the 1920s and has always received State Department support.
A 1929 agreement stipulated that the Soviets could use Du Pont processes for the oxidation of ammonia to manufacture 50-65 percent nitric acid. Du Pont agreed "to place at the disposal of Chemstroi sufficient data, information and facts with respect to the design, construction and operation of such plants as will enable Chemstroi to design, construct and operate ammonia oxidation plants."
Later in 1932, negotiations were concluded between Du Pont and the Soviets for construction of a gigantic nitric acid plant with a capacity of 1,000 tons per day. This approximates 350,000 tons annually. Twenty-five years later, in 1957, the largest Du Pont-process nitric acid plant in the United States, at Hopewell, had an annual capacity of 425,000 tons. Under the 1929 earlier contract, Du Pont also supplied technical assistance to the USSR for a period of five years. The firm inquired of the State Department whether this plant of "excessively large capacity" would meet with objections from the U.S. government: "While we have no knowledge of the purpose of the proposed plant, yet the excessively large capacity contemplated leads us to believe that the purpose may be a military one."31

2)   Many of the chemical plants built in the 1960 and 1970s programs had direct military applications. In 1964 a British company — Power Gas Corporation, Ltd. — built a $14 million plant for the manufacture of acetic acid in the USSR. In 1973 Lurnmus Engineering built another vast acetic acid plant with Monsanto technology and U.S. Export-Import bank loans.

History of Davy Process Technology

Towards the end of the 19th century, Dr Ludwig Mond (pictured here) patented a process for the gasification of low-grade coal to generate producer gas and recover ammonia.
On 16th July 1901, Dr Mond formed the Power-Gas Corporation Limited to exploit this process. He moved his research laboratory from London to Stockton-on-Tees and this started an association with NE England that survives to this day.  Power-Gas became a major supplier of towns gas and, with the advent of oil refineries, a range of petrochemical technologies were developed as well.
Over the last century, our company has derived its strength from close technical collaboration with chemical manufacturers to develop process technologies with improved performance. What has emerged is a modern process development company that offers the process industries a range of cost effective proprietary process technologies that are available to licence.
In 1999 we opened a purpose-built Technology Centre in Stockton-on-Tees with resources carry out chemical process research and development, to operate our own mini-plants and to follow through with engineered designs in support of our technology developments.  In 2001 we acquired from AAT, USA a portfolio of process technologies for the production of industrial amines and their derivatives.

Other wealthy donators helped to grow the galleries collection including the industrialist Dr Ludwig Mond who gave 42 Italian renaissance paintings and Sir Hugh Lane (who died on the Lusitania in 1915) who left 39 paintings in his will. There was some controversary over the latter donation as he made an unwitnessed amendment to his will before dying, that the works should go to Ireland. It wasn't until 1959 that this dispute was settled and the Hugh Lane collection is now on permanent loan to the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin. In recent years there have been two major fund-raising campaigns. In 2004, £35m was raised to buy Raphael’s Madonna of the Pinks and, in 2008, £50m was raised to buy Titian's Diana and Actaeon. The National Gallery is now largely priced out of the market for major works by Old Masters and can only make acquisitions with the help of public appeals.

Art collector
Extolling the cause of Irish art abroad, Lane also became one of the foremost collectors and dealers of Impressionist paintings in Europe, and amongst those outstanding works purchased by him for the new gallery were La Musique aux Tuileries by Manet, Sur la Plage by Degas, Les Parapluies by Renoir and La Cheminée by Vuillard.
The Municipal Gallery of Modern Art opened in January 1908 in temporary premises in Harcourt Street, Dublin. Lane hoped that Dublin Corporation would run it, but the corporation was unsure if it would be financially viable. Lane did not live to see his gallery permanently located as he died in 1915 during the sinking of the RMS Lusitania, off the west coast of Cork, the county of his birth. The Gallery, extended in 2005, is now in Parnell Square in central Dublin.
For his "services to art" in Ireland, Lane was knighted in June 1909 at the comparatively young age of 33.[1]

[edit] Controversy over the Lane Bequest

Following his death, his will bequeathed his collection to London, but an unwitnessed later codicil bequeathed it to Dublin. Having possession, London's National Gallery stuck to the letter of the law, but after decades of correspondence an agreement was reached in 1959 whereby half of the Lane Bequest would be lent and shown in Dublin every five years.[2] In 1993 it was varied so that 31 of the 39 paintings would stay in Ireland. The remaining 8 were divided into 2 groups, so that 4 would be lent for 6 years at a time to Dublin. These 8 include works by Manet, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Morisot, Vuillard and Degas. In 2008 The National Gallery in London arranged for the entire collection to be on display in Dublin together for the first time.
